Use a business-oriented name — not the raw cluster connection string.

Source configuration

Provide a URI (recommended for Atlas) or discrete host fields. Database name is required.

Full connection string. When set, host/port/user/password fields are ignored.

Used when URI is empty.

MongoDB port, often 27017.

Optional when URI is not provided.

Ephemeral credential for validate/ingest.

Database name to ingest collections from.

You can create the source directly or validate the connection first.
